Personal Data Processing Policy
In force since: November 3, 2026
This is a translation. The Spanish version (/privacidad) is the binding one.
1. Who is the data controller
Alfredo Enrique Contreras Santacruz, a natural person who offers products and services under the Forge Labs brand.
- Domicile and address: Bogotá, Colombia
- Email for personal data matters: alfredoe.contreras@gmail.com
- Phone: +57 (313) 496-9448
2. What data we collect and why
| Where | Data | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Forms on the site (waitlist, Operación Asistida contact, course booking, “Talk to our advisor”) | Name, email, company, role or need, and whatever you write | To answer you, schedule the conversation you asked for, send you the information you requested and follow up on your request commercially |
| Conversation with the virtual advisor | Your image and voice during the call, and the transcript of what is said | So the virtual advisor (an artificial intelligence) can talk with you and guide you to the offer that fits |
| Meeting scheduling | Name, email and the information you give when booking | To schedule and hold the meeting |
| Site analytics | Aggregated browsing data (pages viewed, country, device type) | To know which content is useful and improve the site |
We do not: sell, rent or transfer your data; use it to train artificial intelligence models; or make automated decisions with effects on you.
3. Image and voice (data that may be sensitive)
During the conversation with the virtual advisor, your image and voice are processed in real time. You are not obliged to authorize it: you can turn off your camera, or not start the call and book a 30-minute meeting instead. Starting the call requires your express authorization in the form before it.
4. Who we share data with
These providers process the data on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose | Country |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Site hosting and analytics | United States |
| Formspree | Receiving the forms | United States |
| Tavus | Video call with the virtual advisor | United States |
| Calendly | Meeting scheduling | United States |
The United States is among the countries with an adequate level of protection according to Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (External Circular 005 of 2017). We share only what each purpose needs.
5. Your rights
As the data subject, you can (Law 1581 of 2012, art. 8):
- Know, update and correct your data.
- Ask for proof of the authorization you gave us.
- Know how we have used it.
- Revoke the authorization or ask us to delete your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
- Access your data free of charge.
- File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, after having contacted us.
6. How to exercise them
Write to alfredoe.contreras@gmail.com with your name, the data or request, and a way to reply to you.
Queries: we answer within 10 business days at most; if that is not possible, we let you know and answer within 5 more business days at most (art. 14).
Claims (correct, update, delete or revoke): we answer within 15 business days at most; if that is not possible, we let you know and answer within 8 more business days at most (art. 15).
Person in charge of handling them: Alfredo Contreras Santacruz.
7. How long we keep the data
For as long as the purpose for which it was collected lasts and, afterwards, only what the law requires. Forge Labs' databases are in force since November 3, 2026 and for as long as Forge Labs offers its products and services.
8. Minors
The site and the virtual advisor are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.
9. Changes
If we change this policy substantially, we will publish it on this page with its new effective date.
