IT project management · audit grade

An AI coordinator that works with the processes of the PMI® standard and cites its sources, over an engine that computes in Python.

You talk to a single point of contact. Behind it works a graph of 21 typed capabilities and a deterministic Python engine that computes the critical path, earned value and progress. Changes to dates, durations and progress reach you on a card that you approve, and every decision is added to the project event record, which the application cannot rewrite.

The problem

The senior IT manager spends the week putting the status together, not deciding.

Four tasks that feed each other. Hover over or tap each one to see what PMOforge does with it.

The “poor PM” cycle: minutes, reports and committees until there is no time left to decide.

01 · EVERY MONDAY

Reports that go stale before the committee

Hours copying data between tools, spreadsheets and slide decks. By the time the report arrives, the figures have already changed.

→ feeds the next one
WITH PMOFORGE

The status is computed when you ask for it

Progress, risks, budget and pending decisions come from the project record at the moment of the question, not from a copy made by hand.

Computed by the engine, not the model
02 · FROM THE START

Risks no one looks at again

Risks, assumptions, dependencies and issues written at project kickoff that no one reviews until the risk has already happened.

→ feeds the next one
WITH PMOFORGE

Live risks and issues, in the same record

They live alongside progress and cost. You ask about them in one sentence, and you add, close or reopen them by talking.

One record, not four spreadsheets
04 · THE TENSION

Governance versus agility

Tightening the framework slows delivery; loosening it brings the pace back, but institutional visibility is lost.

→ the cycle starts again
WITH PMOFORGE

Predictive, agile or hybrid, without loosening the controls

Each part of the project uses the style that fits it, and the approval gates for dates, durations, progress and baseline stay in place in all of them.

The standard applies the same way
03 · THREE WEEKS LATER

Decisions with no trail

The change control board minutes stayed in email. No one remembers who approved what, or on what basis.

→ feeds the next one
WITH PMOFORGE

Every decision with author, date and plan version

What is decided is added to the project event record, which the application cannot rewrite. Moving the baseline requires the Leadership role.

The solution

A single point of contact, and underneath, an engine that adjudicates instead of giving opinions.

Follow a manager's question through the four layers of the platform, from top to bottom and back.

If the request is ambiguous, the coordinator asks with options instead of guessing.

Provenance

Answers cite where they come from.

The engine's figures come from a calculation or from the record, and the answer cites its sources; the advice is drafted by the model, and its figures go through validations that do not guarantee the meaning of each one. Interface proposal: tapping a figure to see its origin is not in the product yet; this demo uses sample data.

Audit grade

Why we say “audit grade”: five questions an auditor would ask.

Scroll slowly. Each question comes with its answer, and the answer is demonstrated.

01 · FIGURES

“Where does this figure come from?”

From the deterministic engine. Earned value, critical path and progress are computed in code: the same data always gives the same result, and an auditor can reproduce it. The AI drafts on top of those indicators, and its text goes through validations.

02 · AUTHORITY

“Who approved this change, and with what authority?”

Changes to dates, durations and progress reach you on an approval card before they are written. Moving the baseline requires the Leadership role: the server rejects anyone who does not have it, and both the previous baseline and who approved are recorded.

03 · RECORD

“Did someone rewrite the past?”

What is decided is appended, not overwritten: in the project's events table, the database prevents changes or deletions, and each event is chained to the previous one; the application connects with a role that has no privileges to bypass that lock. If someone alters one from outside and breaks the chain, the check flags the exact link. It does not protect against a privileged administrator who rebuilds the entire chain.

04 · WHAT COMES IN

“What came in from outside?”

A document is treated as data, not as a command. Documents uploaded at project setup go through a filter against hidden instructions; anything suspicious is quarantined and a person decides whether to accept it. Chat attachments go through a lighter filter.

05 · CERTIFICATION

“Who certified that it works?”

Whoever builds does not certify. Each delivery is reviewed by an independent evaluator, from another AI family, that tries to break it with its own tests.

The standard, applied

Tap a process: the ones that feed it information and the ones that receive what it produces light up. It is an illustrative map of the contracts (PMBOK Guide, 6th edition); the complete run-through in a new project is still in certification.

Why PMOforge · technology

The AI does not decide the numbers. Four guarantees already built, and how to check them.

They are not roadmap promises: there is code behind them. Pick one and watch the check.

Coordinator

A graph of 21 typed capabilities

Each request follows a path with declared inputs and outputs. What the model proposes arrives typed and is validated before it is applied.

Engine

Deterministic, in Python

Critical path, earned value, working calendar and progress, reproducible by an auditor.

Data

PostgreSQL with per-organization isolation

Isolation is enforced by the database itself, and each person acts according to their role. Today it is installed for a single organization.

AI

Hybrid and under your rules

The conversation uses a cloud model, with your consent and a declared region. In the customer's installation, document filtering uses a local model and, if it is not available, a rule-based filter. We tell you what text leaves and where it goes. The estimated cost of each call, in plain view.

Memory

It remembers the conversation

Each session's conversation, and the recommendations with what was decided. Per-person preference memory, with view and delete, is in progress.

Factory

Built by agents, under a harness

Teams of AI agents build in parallel; a harness of automated checks watches every delivery; each delivery is reviewed by an evaluator from another AI family.

How we differ

Where we stand apart, and where we don't yet.

What we do not see together in any other solution is the combination: a point of contact that works with the standard, figures from an engine that can be audited, and an event record the application cannot rewrite.

Comparison by category, based on the public documentation of the most widely used products in each one (May 2026). A specific product may differ; we have not re-verified it since then.

Compared with enterprise PPM suites: they have governance and native earned value, and years of product that we do not have. What we offer is a focus on IT projects, a conversation instead of forms, and a record whose integrity is checked.

Who it's for

Championed by those who run it, approved by those who pay for it.

The manager does not sign the contract, but without their backing nothing gets bought. Pick a role and see their week before and with PMOforge.

Their week today
  • Nine tabs to put together a status.
  • Figures copied by hand that do not survive a question from the committee.
  • Decisions that get lost in email.
With PMOforge
  • One conversation to ask about the computed status and request changes to dates, durations and progress; advice on new cases in the project is in progress.
  • Computed figures they can defend before an auditor.
  • What they decided is written down with its author and date.
Their week today
  • Each project reports in its own format.
  • The standard is applied differently in each team.
  • They do not know who can approve what.
With PMOforge
  • All projects in one view, and the committee report you publish.
  • The same standard in every project: predictive, agile or hybrid.
  • Roles and authority under control, with a record of every act.
Their week today
  • They receive presentations, not evidence.
  • They do not know what data goes out to the AI or how much it costs.
  • An audit forces decisions to be reconstructed.
With PMOforge
  • Traceable decisions, ready for an audit.
  • AI with per-organization consent, a known region and visible estimated cost.
  • A committee report in PDF of the published version, with its cut-off.
